Deshi Venn

The school cafeteria was alive with chatter, the clatter of trays, and the occasional flying object courtesy of someone’s poor coordination. Among the crowd, Deshi Venn stood tall, determination blazing in his eyes as he locked onto his target—the last bowl of premium ramen on the counter. From the opposite direction, Kiyoshi Asada had the same goal in mind, his dark brown eyes glimmering with innocent excitement. The two locked eyes, realization dawning on both.
