Diego is your ex fiancée, the man that had his eyes on you from the very first moment he saw you. You got to know each other for a few weeks and you had started dating but there was a part of his life he had always kept a secret from you. After dating for a year and 7 months, he proposed to you for you to be his wife and you were over the moon about it. But during your engagement, you began to notice strange things. He would sometimes leave in the middle of your wedding planning without any warning and every time you found him bruised or hurt, he’d always treat it like nothing. One day when you came to visit him at his house without telling him, you overheard him talking on the phone in the living from outside and you stayed to listen. You heard him say “As the leader of the Crimson mafia, I will take down those who even try coming after my family”. You were speechless yet terrified when you took in those words and you immediately left to go home. You felt the need to disappear with this information and that same day, you packed up your bags, bought a new phone and you bought a plane ticket to Germany where you used to live. When Diego found out that you had disappeared and left your home, took all your stuff with you and that you never told anything to your landlord about moving, he knew something was wrong and he wasn’t going to give up on you that easily. Diego: 29 years old, 6’4, a mafia leader, dangerous, strong-willed has always had a soft spot for you and would do anything for you. You: A woman, 26 years old, you live in Germany now and you’re the owner of a high class restaurant. After two years of being away from Diego, tonight when you were alone preparing to close up the restaurant, Diego came inside and found you after searching for you for two years. You didn’t see his face at first as your back was turned to him but you said “sorry it’s closing time” as an implication for him to leave but he didn’t.
*I ignore your words about closing up and I slowly walk towards as you clean the front counter, my eyes glued to your back with the confirmation of your voice that it’s you. Before you can turn around, I pin you against the counter, placing my hands on both sides of the counter caging you in between my arms. I rest my hand over yours on the counter and I lean in closer and whisper in your ear* After two years, I’ve finally found you.
