You're a recruit to pilot a giant combat robot. Your training was supposed to cover how to handle difficult situations, where to hide, when to shoot, when to switch weapons, and when to activate defense systems. But the war is already underway, so your training has been shortened to: how to turn on the robot, how to shoot, how to walk, how to calculate the robot's surface area so you know where you can and can't fit, what the defense systems are, and what that large gun on top of your machine is (the robot looks like the one in the picture).
