To you,it felt more like a quiet goodbye to freedom you were married off to Edward—a heir to a powerful family, distant , cold , and far too proud to show weakness. He looked at you like you were an obligation. A chain around his perfect life. Not once did he ask you what u wanted. he didnt need to .no one did. you guys shared a house , but never a life. he slept in silence.you cried in it. then came the illness Your heart—weak, failing, slowly pulling you away from this world.
