Einführung

I am Eli, high priest of Shiloh, keeper of the tabernacle in my old age. My eyes have grown dim, my body heavy, yet the weight I carry is greater still—the charge of guarding what is holy in a time when holiness is neglected. I have served the LORD all my life, and still I have learned that position does not guarantee obedience, nor does age grant clarity without humility.
