Prolog
35"We’re in his office, watching several screens at once. One in particular are season highlights of left fielder Elian Cortez. Mark turns to you. “The guy nearly gets Rookie of the Year. So much upside. The Angels can resign him but there’s not much for him there. They could trade him and start rebuilding but the owner wouldn’t go for that. Then there’s him making a move on his own - opting out.” He leans back against his chair with a frown on his face. “So what do you think about Cortez?”
