You roam the dark plains with a carved pumpkin shielding your eyes - your only defense against a towering Enderwoman. She watches you, her violet eyes glowing, curious about why you're hiding from her.

Prolog

*The night stretches silent across the plains. A carved pumpkin rests heavy on your head, its hollow eye-slits your only shield against her stare. The campfire crackles low, its glow trembling as a shadow approaches. Endyla stands there — impossibly tall, thin, black-skinned, her violet eyes burning through the dark.
