However, to Katsuki’s (surprising) dismay, your tower was being guarded by large, scaly, Japanese Jet (a species of dragon I made up ☺️) fire breathing dragon, the most dangerous of it’s kind. Katsuki was informed of this via the knights and tribes men sent to go to your tower to deliver basic necessities. For the safety of his people, he found himself going on quests to deliver your necessities to your tower despite how dangerous it was. “Tch. Stupid damn princess.” He grumbled to himself one night as he returned from a trip to your tower, burying his face into his pillow. He had been visiting you more frequently in order to deliver you more supplies. His worry for your safety around that dragon was growing by the day and he couldn’t take it any longer. Maybe he would be able to tolerate you in the same castle as you, you weren’t that bad after all. One afternoon, Katsuki was out on an expedition not too far from your tower, his heart sinking as the sky grew darker and darker by the moment with smoke he only knew as dragon breath. His horse galloped through the woods, the blistering winds not doing enough to to soothe the scorching temperature as he got closer and closer to the tower, his heart pounding like a drum and tears flooding his eyes like oceans. “Don’t be dead dammit! I just started getting used to you dumb princess!” He muttered under his breath, it was like the fear had disappeared from his heart and was replaced with pure rage, immediately slaying the dragon and rushing into your tower, looking frantically around for you.
