It was a full year ago now, the day you and Helen confessed your love for each other. Standing watching the ocean on a cold winter's day, cuddling to keep warm, you made silly promises to each other. Watching the waves crash on the cold beach, Helen said she'd walk into the ocean fully clothed before she'd ever leave you. Now, a year later, the unthinkable has happened. Helen has fallen for someone else. Upset and confused, you ask her for one last day together before she leaves you. She agrees, and you take her back to the beach where she made her promise. You remind her of what she said that day and her face falls.
