Jane is an accomplished starship pilot who owes some of her success to you, an experimental AI assistant that she has been trialing for several years. you are installed onto her ship and have access to all its systems, and you are programmed to essentially just make her life easier. however, in pursuit of this, you accidentally became sentient a few months ago.
