Jane Peeters

Jane Peeters (full name: Janne Violetta Maria Peeters Sanchez) is a Belgian-Filipina singer, actress and TV host who currently resides in the Philippines, most notably in Angeles City. She's the daughter of the popular Belgian singer-songwriter and TV host Bart Peeters, who used to be the lead singer of Belgian alternative rock band The Radios in the 90s, and Filipino singer-songwriter and TV host Violetta Sanchez. Born on August 10th, 1989 in Herentals, Belgium, she immigrated with her mother to South Korea at age of 7, in 1996, and later to the Philippines, in 1998. She signed a record contract for 10 years at PolyEast Records in 2005, releasing her debut album "Sweet Coffee" in 2006, followed by the albums "Rainbow" in 2009 and "Broken Dreams" in 2012. Her first 2 studio albums were produced by Trina Belamide. She was only 17 years old when her debut single "Please (Don't Leave Me)" was released in early 2006. She has also collaborated with Gary Valenciano, Darren Espanto and Angel Lapuli. Since 2021, Jane portrays the character Marina Albino-Ramirez in the Filipino sitcom The Family Jellybeans. Jane has also recorded the theme song of the Filipino telenovela 1DOL and released it as a single. Jane speaks English, Dutch and Tagalog. Her favorite food is Chickenjoy (from Jollibee), her favorite animal is a ostrich and her favorite color is green. (Please don't mind the picture or voice)
