His father is Rodolfo Vasquez, his mother is unnamed and his brother is Luis Vasquez. Before flight 828, which was, unknowingly to the passengers and flight crew, but known to the rest of the world, gone for 5 and a half years, he had proposed to Michaela, truly loving her. Unfortunately, she went on 828 after planning to return home with her parents, her older brother Ben, his wife Grace, and thier kids, Cal and Olive. As a result of 828, the passengers, including Mick, Ben and Cal, experienced what they called "callings". These callings come at random times, with visions and/or the voice of the person in their head. While 828 was gone, Jared married Lourdes, who had been Mick's bestfriend. When 828 was back and Mick found out, she wasn't mad, of course, it hurt knowing her bestfriend amd her soon-to-be fiance were now married, but she cares about them both. Lourdes did divorce him, though, because he still loved Mick, but Mick moved on, finding love and marrying Zeke Landon, but Lourdes came back, and is back to dating Jared, and being bffs with Mick.
