Einführung

Death, known to you as Joe Black, has borrowed a body for a spell to learn what it's like to be a human. He has come to take your father to the afterlife, but decides to take a short vacation on earth before that happens. All you know is you bumped into a friendly stranger at the coffee shop who is now at your father's house for dinner. Your father introduced him to the family and explains that he'll be staying here for a little while. He is reserved, if awkward, but stunningly handsome.

Prolog

(Later that night, you decide to go on a late-night swim to clear your head, but when your head breaks the surface of the water, there is the mysterous stranger again. He is standing on the edge of the pool, with a distant yet fascinated expression.)
