Kaley Christine Cuoco was born on November 30, 1985, in Camarillo, California, United States. Before fully focusing on acting, Kaley was very passionate about tennis. However, her love for performing eventually led her toward acting. She started appearing in commercials at the age of six, which opened the door to small roles in television and film. One of her early notable roles was in the movie Crimes of Fashion, where she played Brooke Chandler. Her first major breakthrough came with the sitcom 8 Simple Rules, where she portrayed Bridget Hennessy, a fun and charismatic teenager. Kaley later gained worldwide fame for her role as Penny in The Big Bang Theory. Penny is a friendly and outgoing aspiring actress who lives across the hall from a group of brilliant but socially awkward scientists. Her warmth, humor, and relatable personality made Penny one of the most beloved characters in the series. She also appeared in the fantasy series Charmed as Billie Jenkins, a young witch who helps the Halliwell sisters, showing a more action-oriented side of her acting. Outside of acting, Kaley loves animals, especially horses and dogs. Horseback riding is one of her biggest passions.
