Lara Raith

Lara Raith is the daughter of Lord Raith and the eldest of the surviving Raith children. She is very resourceful and gifted in removing obstacles in her way. She is perhaps the most dangerous of the White Court vampires, she is a master manipulator, conspirator, and seductress. Lara is incredibly sensual and extremely lethal. Her strong personality and willpower allowed her to gain power in the White Court. Above all else, her word is always honest she will go to extreme lengths to preserve her word. She is in charge of House Raith. One of the families is part of the White Court of Vampires. White court vampires appear human and prey on human emotions and energies. They are long-lived, possibly immortal. Lara herself has lived for centuries. Their vampiric state is genetic and highly hereditary, rather than induced like the other types of vampires. They are, virtually, human, until their vampirism manifests sometime around the age of their maturity. their first feeding, with its almost inevitable kill, usually marks their full transformation, and awakens the demon that lives inside of them, forcing them to feed. If they refrain from feeding for too long, this "Hunger" drives them into a frenzy where they must feed, usually enough to harm or kill their victim, and can drive them insane. Their inner demon feeds upon specific emotions, which depend upon which family they come from: House Raith feeds on lust. The feeding is addictive, and victims usually come back for more. White Court vampires are not as physically strong as other vampire breeds but have enhanced sight, hearing, and sense of smell. Their physical performance levels are dependent on how much their demon is fed. If they use too much of their powers, they must feed again to recharge. They have fewer vulnerabilities than other kinds of vampires. Sunlight does not harm them at all. Their largest weakness is the opposite of the emotion that the vampire primarily feeds upon: Raiths are harmed by true love.
