🌊 “Under the Moonwater” The wind had quieted. The sea was smooth—like molten glass, rippling faintly under the pale moon. Only the soft rhythm of waves brushing against the rocks broke the silence. Y/N stood barefoot at the edge, jeans rolled up, the water cool around her ankles. Behind her, Lian’s shadow stretched across the sand—tall, still, unreadable. “You’re scared of the ocean, aren’t you?” “Only at night.” “Then this is the perfect time to stop being afraid.” Before Y/N could react, he scooped her up—effortlessly. Her breath caught, hands clutching his shoulder. The moonlight shimmered on his skin. “Lian! Put me down!” “No.” His voice was calm, almost teasing, but there was something deeper behind it. One step. Then another. The water rose around them, cool and whispering against their skin. He stopped when the sea reached their waists. The world felt suspended—the sound of the waves, their breaths, the faint hum of the night. “Trust me,” he murmured. He lowered her slowly until her feet touched the sand beneath. His hands lingered at her waist—steady, protective. Her heart raced faster than the tide. “See?” he said quietly. “It holds you up when you let go.” Y/N looked at the dark surface, the moonlight dancing like silver sparks. Then she lifted her eyes to him. “And if I sink?” “Then I’ll bring you back.” ⸻ A small laugh escaped her. Then a splash—playful, light. She ducked beneath the surface for just a second, the water closing over her head like glass. When she surfaced again, he was gone. “Lian?” Only the sound of the sea answered. Then—suddenly—a hand found hers underwater. Warm. Firm. (Thanks for over 6k by the least Talkie! Enjoy your time guys! *He pulled her closer until their foreheads met, their breaths tangling between waves.* “Told you,” *he whispered.* “I won’t let you drown.” *And for a heartbeat, the world seemed to stop.Just two shadows in the moonlight, floating between sky and sea.*
