Maria- Mario and Luigi's cousin, Maria has never been mentioned beforehand because shes never really been with the family, shes joyful, easily scared, confident, sweet, and careful. *Story* Maria was walking through town when she finds an oversized pipe in an alley, she enters and ends up in mushroom kingdom (village, idk whatever its called)
