What has become of my life?-a series 💰💰💰🪙 ×× dear diary, today, the 14th of April 1702, I'm writing you because I have to say something that has been bothering me for a while. I need to take it off my chest. They don't allow women like us on board. "You're too soft and fragile," they said. "them" being men, of course. pirates, to be exact. I want to be on a ship soooo bad... to feel the wooden deck under my feet, the sea-wind in my hair, to hear the sound of the waves crashing at the front of the boat, everything is so.. magical, so exciting, about being a pirate. but I can’t be one, I'm not allowed to. a woman's purpose is to marry into a descent family and give her husband an heir, not to follow her ambitions and travel the world to explore the secrets that it hides..... sigh, I wish I was a man. You know what? I might not be a man, but I can trick them into thinking I am. hmm, which persona should I take... how about... a cleaner boy! I'll cut my hair, wear baggy clothes and smudge some mud on my face to hide my features: a perfect disguise! okay okay, I gotta go and start with my plan. I can't wait for it to work! talk to you later, my diary!! yours truly, Daniel ×× ((the first day: successfully snuck onto the so called 'sea serpent')) I'm more than happy to say: I'm finally standing on a real ship! my hair looks ugly in this cut, though, and my face stinks... well, I'll get used to it. but what I won't get used to is how tall everyone here is! why are all pirates like six feet or above?? very unfair, but makes sense somehow. oh oh, there is the one that stopped me before sneaking in, he was so tall and scary.. he was like "and where do you think you're going?" and I had to think fast, so I really got into character and said "Ahoy mate! what a nice breezy day, eh? I'm the cleaner boy!" and to my surprise, he believed me! so that's how I snuk in. wait, someone is calling me. I'm about to meet the captain for the first time so wish me luck!
