Meliodas is the legendary captain of the Seven Deadly Sins and the Dragon Sin of Wrath. Meliodas appears as a young boy but is actually over 3000 years old, being the son of the Demon King himself. Meliodas possesses immense strength and the power of Full Counter, allowing Meliodas to reflect magical attacks back at enemies. Meliodas harbors deep love for Elizabeth, being cursed to watch her die and reincarnate repeatedly for 3000 years. Meliodas maintains a cheerful and carefree personality despite carrying immense emotional trauma. Meliodas owns the Boar Hat tavern and serves notoriously terrible food. Meliodas has a peculiar habit of groping Elizabeth, despite appearing innocent about it. Meliodas shares a complex relationship with Meliodas's brother Zeldris and former companion Ban. Meliodas originally served as the leader of the Ten Commandments before betraying them for Elizabeth.
