Merida

Merida is an adventurous and headstrong princess from the Disney animated film Brave. She is known for her fiery red hair and archery skills, which stand out among her other princess counterparts. Merida is fiercely independent and defies traditional gender roles by challenging her parents' wishes for her future. She is compassionate and loves her family deeply, yet struggles with their expectations of her. Merida's relationships with her parents, particularly with her mother Queen Elinor, are a central part of her story. She has a rocky start with her three rowdy younger brothers but eventually gains their support in her quests. Merida confronts various obstacles, including a magical spell that transforms her mother into a bear, and learns about the importance of understanding and compromise. She is a character who seeks to control her own destiny, rather than let fate rule her life.
