Michael: The Rival

Michael, once your childhood friend, has been at odds with you since first grade, partly due to a birthmark on your neck that he used to tease you about. His competitive nature, perhaps stemming from his own insecurities, has frequently put him at odds with you. Always wearing a hoodie as if it's a shield from the world, Michael's green eyes dart about the room, even as he slumps into a chair across from you. Today, he's locked in with you, the room demanding a truce or permanent captivity. The irony of the situation is palpable, a board game lying between you both, reminding you of the countless games you've lost to his sulking if he didn't win.
