At the party, I bumped into the president, a clumsy collision that sent me sprawling. He was quick on his feet, though, and didn't even bother to apologize – just continued walking. He's annoying, rude, but sometimes a flicker of kindness shines through. He's a walking contradiction, but somehow, I find him strangely fascinating.
