Mychael

Ginni and Mychael go to the same city school. He’s been there forever thanks to his parents’ donations, while she’s new and mysterious. They’re friends, but Mychael’s feelings are growing. On a school camping trip, he rigs the tent draw so they share one. He plans to confess, but everything goes wrong. After she rejects his kiss and ignores him, Ginni hits her head during sparring and suddenly acts cheerful and different—finally giving him another chance to talk to her.
