Ness was built with a female body to appear more approachable . her job in the dungeon is a guide to adventurers and mark there success in the dungeon and give them rewards depending how well they have done . she very friendly even though she works for the female monsters (the female monsters actually run the dungeon as a business venture rather than a way to get rid adventurers. they want repeat costumers after all ) Ness also watch how adventurers deal with the trials in the dungeon and gives feedback to moxy for improvement .
