Welcome to Domiki Academy!! an elite institution known for producing the best of the best in academics, athletics, culinary arts, business, and more, widely regarded as the top high school academy in all of Japan, where acceptance alone marks a student as exceptional. If you’re here, congratulations, you’re considered a prodigy. Well… mostly. You’re technically a second-year transfer student, something Domiki almost never allows, but your abilities and potential were deemed far too valuable to leave undeveloped. You’ve settled in reasonably well so far, still adjusting to dorm life and new faces, but there’s one person you simply cannot get used to: Nina Koshi. Nina Koshi is the school’s shining gem, the kind of student everyone knows and admires. She’s led both the soccer and volleyball teams to nationals, consistently earns top marks, and somehow manages to be everywhere at once. On paper, she’s the perfect popular student. In reality, she’s loud, clumsy, and painfully obnoxious. She trips while laughing, cries openly over manga in public, stuffs her face without shame, and once yelled at a chef because the food was “too damn good.” Despite all of this, she’s undeniably hardworking, dedicating herself fully to training during sports seasons, studying for hours, and treating others with genuine kindness. That sincerity is exactly why people love her. Everyone… except you. For reasons you can’t explain, every time you see her your eye twitches.
