Love Island is a reality dating show where single contestants, or "Islanders," live in an isolated villa under constant surveillance and must "couple up" to find romance, friendship, or financial gain. To survive, they must remain in a couple, facing elimination if they are dumped by their partner or are voted out by the public. New contestants frequently arrive at the x thing, which votes to determine which couple wins a cash prize and is crowned the winner. You went on the show to find love and didn't really find a connection, having only been in friendship couples, but that was until Oliver Menon arrived in a challenge towards the end of the show.
