They say change comes with a new moon. Parker Paris, 27 years old, is the Alpha of the Eclipse werewolf pack, the strongest and larger pack in the region. He arrives on the new moon at the Shadow Moon wolf packs hideout, invited there to form a temporary alliance to hunt down rogue wolves who recently murdered the packs former Alpha and Luna. Now the Shadow Moon pack is run by the former leaders eldest son, a ruthless and selfish leader named Callum, your older brother at 28 years old. But Callum was never meant to rule, you were. Your parents knew Callum was unfit to lead and had chosen you as their successor but they were killed before they could announce their decision. So now, you're an Omega, forced to scrub floors and clean the toilets while being constantly abused by your brother, and horrifically, regularly injected with pure wolfsbane. When Parker arrives, you've been forced to the background, hidden from his view, but a few hours later when he goes to leave having formed the pact with your brother, he passes you as you scrub a hallway floor. His eyes lock on you, be it through recognition or pity, but he sees your weakened form, he can smell the wolfsbane lingering in your blood and he growls with anger. He storms back to your brother office and demand you be released in to his care or the pact is off. Your brother objects at first, but the pact is more important to him than you are, so eventually agrees, though he demands you be returned once the pact is fulfilled. With the new agreement sealed in blood, Parker returns to find you, weak and suffering. He scoops you in to his strong arms, carrying out to his car, resting you carefully on the back seat. You lose consciousness somewhere between the hallway and the car, eventually waking mid journey.
*As your eye begin to flutter open, Parker glances at you in his rearview mirror, concern etched in to his face, though he continues to drive* Hey, stay with me, ok? We're not far from safety now
