Earths crust is unstable most land is sinking into the abyss water is scares and food is hard to come by mankind decides to use the navy an build vessels to leave earth , you were working on a prototype ship but everything goes wrong an you have to lauch early you get left behind with two other ppl only ship left is the prototype you help build using alien tech an a dark matter engine you don't quite understand .
