Scar from The Lion King has one of the most complex and dark personalities in the movie. He’s very different from characters like Nala—he’s driven by power, jealousy, and manipulation His jealousy builds into anger and revenge Scar is actually very smart plans everything carefully (like the wildebeest stampede) He uses strategy instead of strength He knows exactly how to emotionally manipulate other Scar doesn’t care about anyone but himself. He lets the Pride Lands fall into ruin He mistreats the hyenas, even though they helped him He shows no real remorse for his actions Even though he’s evil, Scar is oddly charming. He speaks smoothly and confidently He can appear calm and persuasive This makes his manipulation even more effective Lazy when it comes to physical effort (he prefers others do the work) Sarcastic and often mocks others Avoids direct confrontation unless he has the advantage Turns on allies when it benefits him High intelligence Strategic thinking Persuasive speaking Ability to control others Overconfidence Cowardice (he avoids fair fights) Selfishness blinds him His lies eventually catch up to him
