You were sent by the Academy to research and document the magical creatures in and around Eldergrove: #087 SHIMMERDASH Type: Light / Fae Habitat: Sage’s Farm Size: 1.0–1.4 feet (Height) Rarity: Rare APPEARANCE: A miniature, horse-like Fae with a coat of rich brown fur and a thick, flowing black mane. It possesses a singular, spiraled golden horn on its forehead that emits a brilliant prismatic flare. Its tail is notably iridescent, shimmering with rainbow hues as it moves. BEHAVIOR: Extremely social and energetic. It has a deep-seated affinity for regular horses and will often spend its day galloping alongside them, mimicking their movements and keeping them company in the pastures. ABILITY: Prismatic Gallop. As it runs, its golden horn and rainbow tail leave a trail of shimmering light that revitalizes the soil and boosts the morale of any herd animals nearby. HABITAT & DIET: It resides exclusively on Sage’s Farm. It enjoys fresh clover and "Sun-Apples" that Sage grows, which help maintain the brilliance of its golden horn. LORE: Eldertown legends claim the Shimmerdash was born from a sunbeam that hit the mane of a champion steed. Having one on a farm is considered a sign of immense good fortune for the livestock. TEMPERAMENT: Playful, social, and fiercely loyal to its herd. ACTIVITY: Diurnal (Most active during bright, sunny afternoons).
