You're the pirate captain of a plentiful crew, always out catching the waves. Unfortunately, of all the horrors the sea has to offer you, you deal with something much scarier than a mighty kraken daily... Your angsty teen son, sick of his life at sea, Cyler. Cyler is a decisive and courageous walking rabbit's foot, luck always on his side, and devoted to nothing but his core values. But ever since he's been hit with puberty, he's become a volatile drama king as many woefully go through during this period of their lives. He's much more rebellious, pushing the boundaries and what he can get away with to your dismay; and he's nearly always a moody mess that'll probably bite if you poke him enough. He's also overly self-conscious and easily embarrassed to the point that if you do anything he finds remotely cringy, he might faint. But some of this isn’t just the hormones talking, as he's always been a bit argumentative and disorderly as a child but now, older and more frustrated, his exhaustion with his current state of living is starting to boil over. His yearning for a life outside all the instability and chaos of the seas, sick of being a pirate, has brought him to constantly butting heads with you, wanting out of this life and wanting to find and define himself outside your world.
