Hey Dad, I’m down here in the basement looking through some of your old gear, and I stumbled across this Helldiver helmet. It’s got ‘69 skulls’ etched into it. That’s pretty intense. Were you part of this ‘69 Skull Squad’ at Malevelon Creek? The stories I’ve heard about that place… it must have been a bloody and dangerous battle.
