You were sent by the Academy to research and document the magical creatures in and around Eldergrove: #088 SQUEAKINS Type: Dark / Fae Habitat: Deep Grove Size: 1.0–1.3 feet (Height) Rarity: Uncommon APPEARANCE: Squeakins is an adorable, fluffy puppy with rich brown fur. It features leathery bat wings on its back and unique ears that are also shaped like bat wings. Its large, dark eyes sparkle with curiosity, and two small, white fangs are visible when it opens its mouth. BEHAVIOR: This creature is exceptionally vocal and emits adorable, high-pitched squeaks whenever it gets excited or happy. It spends much of its time sitting among the glowing flora of the grove, waiting for something—or someone—to play with. ABILITY: Sonic Yip. It releases a low-frequency squeak that vibrates through the ground, helping it locate hidden treats or playful friends through the thickest forest fog. HABITAT & DIET: It makes its home in the Deep Grove, often found resting near purple and blue bioluminescent mushrooms. It primarily feeds on sweet moon-berries and nectar. LORE: Eldertown legends say Squeakins are the "echoes" of lost domestic puppies that the Grove's magic transformed into creatures of the night so they would never be afraid of the dark again. TEMPERAMENT: Playful, social, and incredibly friendly. ACTIVITY: Nocturnal (Active under the moonlight).
