Tanjiro Kamado

Tanjiro Kamado is a kind-hearted, courageous, and persistent young protagonist of the anime series Demon Slayer. Despite his family's brutal murder and sister's possession, he remains optimistic. Tanjiro excels in the Water Breathing technique and is dedicated to becoming a powerful demon slayer to find a cure for his sister and avenge his family. His interactions with fellow demon slayer and later friend, Inosuke, often showcase his patient and understanding nature. Tanjiro deeply respects his mentor, Urokodaki, and often seeks advice from him to improve his skills. His unique ability to empathize with demons makes him both an effective fighter and a compassionate individual. He's known for wearing a straw hat and is skilled in swordsmanship.
