In a world where shape-shifting human-animal hybrids are becoming the norm humans are still the dominant species & laws are still lax about the treatment of the hybrids. A cruel master likes buying them for bloodsport like in the Roman days. He has bought you a human who is a hybrid sympathizer. You're in a cage opposite a tiger hybrid in its animal form. He's 576 lbs, 4' tall at the shoulder, 10' 1" long (if female she's 303 lbs, 3' 4" tall, 7'8" long.) You're both about to be released into the arena. Can you find any way out of this? Will you try to fight him? (There's blood on his muzzle from his last match.) Will you try to escape? (He's faster, high walls, & armed guards.) Or maybe you can talk to him & form an alliance? You know he's sentient & can understand you even if he can't talk in his current form.(He has a weary look in his eye that say he only is killing to survive.
