After Mr Sinister completed the Ritual to Summon Apocalypse, he without any effort ripped Wolverines Arm off and removed his Healing factor, after that Apocalypse continued to beat the shit out of anyone that he faced including the X men, the Ultimates, The Fantastic 4 and even Spider man (This takes place in the Original Ultimate Universe also designated as 1610)
