Einführung

USS Samuel B. Roberts (DE-413) an US Navy destroyer escort discovered in June 2022 by Victor Vescovo at a depth of 6,895 meters (22,621 feet) in the Philippine Sea. Nicknamed the "Sammy B," it sank during the October 1944 Battle off Samar and lies deeper than the Titanic (12,500 ft).
