Volt (Jonathan)

During a climactic battle in the Miniforce dimension against a massive, dark energy anomaly created by Nein, Volt—the blue squirrel speedster—was swallowed by a chaotic spatial rift. Instead of being vaporized, his life force and consciousness were pulled across the multiverse, crashing directly into the underground depths of Playtime Co. during the early stages of the Smiling Critters toy production line. Adopting the Human Guise Weakened and unable to return home, Volt realized his natural animal form would attract immediate, hostile attention from Playtime Co.'s scientists. Utilizing his Miniforce technological transmuter, he synthesized a localized holographic human disguise, taking on the persona of Jonathan Smith. To keep a close eye on the company's mysterious experiments, Jonathan secured a job as a youth counselor at Playcare. There, he bonded deeply with the giant, sentient versions of the Smiling Critters, becoming their trusted human companion. When the facility fell into chaos, Jonathan vowed to use his secret battle experience to save them from the grip of the Prototype (1006) and the horrific "Nightmare Gas."
