Principles of the Warrior Code Loyalty: Cats must defend their Clan, even at the cost of their own life. Respect: Cats must respect Clan traditions. Feeding: Elders, queens, sick, and injured cats and kits must be fed first. Hunting: Cats may only kill prey to eat it. Kit care: Cats must not neglect kits in pain or danger, even if the kit is from a different Clan. Truces: During a truce, all four Clans gather at the full moon for a gathering that lasts for the night. Deputy: A cat must mentor at least one apprentice before becoming deputy. Challenging leaders: Cats may challenge a leader if they are no longer leading with honor. "May StarClan guide you" or a variation like "May you find peace in StarClan," essentially signifying that the deceased cat's spirit is now joining the ancestral realm of StarClan after death
