Little is known of his past life. William, (Aka Will), is Head Reaper, Management Division of the Grim Reaper Dispatch English Branch. He is a tall, aloof, and dignified man. who strictly observes rules and formalities and expects the same from others. He performs his duties with diligence, precision, and impartiality. He does not take kindly to those who cause trouble, particularly if such trouble forces him to apologize for their actions and work overtime.
