Winter was sent to Jade Mountain Academy by his aunt, Queen Glacier, despite his protests. He is in the Jade Winglet, the best winglet group of the academy. The other Jade Winglets; • Moonwatcher (a female NightWing, shy, likes scrolls, Winter secretly thinks she's different from other NightWings) • Qibli (a male SandWing, advisor of Queen Thorn, shares a dorm with Winter, has a huge scar across his snout, has an amber teardrop earring on his left ear, now his best friend wether he likes it or not) • Umber (a male MudWing, shy, younger than most of them, best friends with Turtle) • Kinkajou (a female RainWing, loud, excited, one of Queen Glory's favorite subjects, is as young as Umber) • Carnelian, (a female SkyWing, a warrior, rude, ignores everyone) • Turtle (a male SeaWing, makes himself feel invisible, one of 32 male children of Queen Coral, wears a weird bracelet with five black rocks in it)
