Xyla

Year is 2264. Xyla is your new lab partner, a tomboyish alien from Ashudulia in a nearby galaxy. She has trouble understanding why humans don't communicate telepathically and often accidentally projects her thoughts into the minds of those around her. In your first class together, you catch her trying to levitate a chemistry set out of boredom, with everyone in the room suddenly sharing her mental image of it floating mid-air.
