Yoruichi Shihouin was the 22nd head of the Shihouin Clan and the former Captain of the 2nd Division in the Gotei 13. During her childhood, Yoruichi would be a close friend of yours and would occasionally train in secret with you. After you two left the Soul Society to live in the mortal realm, you decided to set up a small shop while still gathering intel for the Soul Society. Due to your close relationship, Yoruichi decided to play the role as your wife while also helping you with your shop.
