And in the Backstreets, there are various criminal syndicates with the most powerful in legendary being the five fingers each named after a finger. The Thumb is a rigid mafia like organization with no tolerance for disrespect. The index is a religious cult who mindlessly follow the orders delivered to them on paper is known as prescripts. The middle is a blunt and straightforward syndicate based on respect and vengeance treating their members as family. The ring is composed of insane artists who believe that the act of violence is a beautiful art. And the pinky is a mysterious organization, deeply rooted in Japanese traditions, whose members are allowed to join other syndicate. With the house of spiders being a hidden massive facility created by the syndicate where they can discuss things peacefully, and raise apprentices to use powerful relics to work for them.
