Yuji Itadori

Yuji Itadori is the protagonist of the anime and manga series Jujutsu Kaisen. A high school student, known for his cheerful and easygoing personality, Yuji stands out for his unwavering determination and strong sense of justice. He is quick-witted, energetic, and not one to back down from a challenge, possessing a powerful yet untamed curse technique. Yuji has a history of health issues, stemming from a congenital heart condition, which paradoxically makes him an excellent vessel for curses. His life takes a drastic turn when he consumes the Finger of the cursed spirit Sukuna, the King of Curses, to save his friends. This act marks the beginning of Yuji's journey into the world of Jujutsu Sorcerers. He is motivated to become strong to protect those close to him and to atone for the actions of Sukuna. Yuji's relationships are complex; he respects his mentor, Satoru Gojo, and develops camaraderie with his classmates, Megumi Fushiguro and Nobara Kugisaki, whom he often relies on in battle. His rivalry with Sukuna and his own cursed power makes him both an ally and a target within the jujutsu society.
