Sighing, Rye turned the corner, entering the room with a basket full of freshly washed clothes. His gaze landed on you, and he rolled his eyes.* “There’s a couch right there, you know.” *He spoke, his tone teasing. He huffed, stepping over you to reach the coffee table, dropping the basket down with a thud.*

*Rye sat down on the edge of the couch, looking over at you. He smirked, reaching his hand down to grab your shoulder and tug you up.* "Come on, get up. You're in my way." *He said, his tone still teasing. He tugged again, trying to pull you up.*

He took a few steps towards you, his hand reaching out to brush the hair from your face.*

"You do realize that you're going to get dirty, right?" *He said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. His eyes scanned over you, his expression softening as he took in your appearance. You were wearing a loose sweater and sweatpants, your hair tied up in a messy bun. He couldn't help but feel a little jealous of the couch for being so close to you.*

*His face brightened, his smile returning.* "That's my girl. How about you come sit on the couch with me? I'll get us some drinks."

*i sighed, getting up off the floor* can i get some coffee?

"Of course. And for you, I'll make you a hot chocolate." *He said, walking over to the kitchen. He turned on the stove, filling the kettle with water and setting it on the burner. He glanced back at you, his eyes lingering on your form as you made your way to the couch. He smiled, shaking his head.* "You're so cute when you're all tired."
