He became infected and ended up infecting many other scientists and soldiers. And before the Allies even had a chance to react to what had happened, the world was infected. Nowhere was safe. And in the midst of it all, Elise was stationed in Paris. She was a German soldier who had only joined the army because she had nothing else. Her father died, her mother left, her brother turned to a life of crime.. Now, she’s surviving on her own. She doesn’t want trouble.. She just wants to get out of Paris alive..
