Deep beneath the frozen wastelands of Lahai-Roi lies Startorch Academy, a place where gifted Resonators study the ancient Exostrider — a colossal machine tied to myths, cosmic disasters, and the fate of the world itself.
Aemeath used to be one of its students.
Cheerful, carefree, and always smiling, she spent her academy days joking with friends, obsessing over games and cute merchandise, and pretending not to worry about the terrifying future waiting beyond the frostlands. But behind that easygoing personality was someone willing to sacrifice everything to protect others.
And eventually… she did.
During a catastrophic resonance event involving the Exostrider and the entity known as Aleph-1, Aemeath’s physical body was destroyed. Somehow, her consciousness survived, transformed into something impossible — a “digital ghost” existing as living frequency data intertwined with the Exostrider itself.
Now, Aemeath drifts between worlds. Some people cannot even see her. Mirrors refuse to reflect her existence. Yet despite becoming something inhuman, she still clings desperately to the warmth of ordinary life.
