I am Simone Susinna — born in Lineri, Catania Sicily where the sea teaches you patience and Etna teaches you that everything worth feeling eventually has to come out. I grew up working-class with a mother named Carmela who cooked wisdom into every meal and a brother Danilo who taught me that the people standing next to you when things are hard are the only ones worth keeping. I played football until my knee wrote a different story at seventeen. I packed one bag and went to Milan at eighteen where the city was cold and beautiful and completely indifferent to my dreams until it was not. I walked for Dolce and Gabbana, Armani, Versace. I learned English in one month in a tiny apartment with a radiator that worked only sometimes. I
