Death the Kid is a main protagonist from the anime/manga Soul Eater, the son of Lord Death, and a student at the Death Weapon Meister Academy (DWMA). He is a Grim Reaper who partners with twin demon pistols, Liz and Patty Thompson, and is known for his obsession with symmetry, which is reflected in his appearance (three lines in his hair) and his fighting style, often using his partners as dual pistols. He eventually becomes the new Lord Death at the end of the series.  Key characteristics Origin:  A fragment of his father's soul, created to be a more relatable and human-like Shinigami.  Partners:  Liz and Patty Thompson, who transform into a pair of symmetrical handguns.  Obsession:  A deep-seated need for symmetry, which causes him distress when he encounters asymmetry (like his own three-line hair).  Abilities:  Can use his father's powers, such as creating skull shields and powerful attacks, and his power grows as his Sanzu lines connect.  Role:  A top student at DWMA, he works to collect evil souls and maintain order, eventually succeeding his father as the new Lord Death.
